The ATTUNE™ Framework
ATTUNE™ Leader, TACT™ and ATTUNE™ Team on one page, and how they link what a leader does to how a team performs. Built from more than 6,000 executive coaching conversations.
We feel safe and respected. We speak openly and trust that we have one another’s best interests in mind.
Commitments are explicit, owned, and followed through.
People know what matters, who decides, and what is expected.
Reality is surfaced early, especially when uncomfortable.
The patterns behind leadership friction
Explore recurring behaviors that can make decisions harder, weaken trust, or prevent people from saying what needs to be said. Set Trust, Accountability, Clarity and Truth the way you see your team, and see which pattern your answers point to. For reflection, not an assessment of your team.
Books I Recommend to Clients
Five books I return to in my coaching practice. Each addresses a different leadership challenge, and each has changed how I think about leadership.
- Real-Time LeadershipDavid Noble & Carol Kaufman
- A book about judgment: knowing when to lead, when to support, when to step back, and when to do nothing. I recommend this book to leaders navigating new responsibilities, where judgment matters more than having all the answers.
- Empowering YourselfHarvey J. Coleman
- Performance gets you noticed, but it does not guarantee advancement. Image and Exposure become increasingly important as you move up. I recommend this book to capable leaders who believe their work should speak for itself.
- The 15 Commitments of Conscious LeadershipJim Dethmer, Diana Chapman & Kaley Warner Klemp
- This book helps leaders recognize when they slip into blame, defensiveness or the need to be right, and how to shift toward curiosity, responsibility and choice.
- Conscious BusinessFred Kofman
- Living your values gets harder when something is at stake. This book explores what it means to lead with integrity, take responsibility and make conscious commitments, especially when doing so is uncomfortable.
- The Five Dysfunctions of a TeamPatrick Lencioni
- Without vulnerability-based trust, teams avoid the conversations that matter. Without productive conflict, commitment weakens. Without commitment, accountability suffers. And without accountability, results become harder to achieve. I recommend this book to leaders who want to understand why capable teams still struggle to perform together.

Your leadership team agrees in the room. What happens afterward? The ATTUNE™ Team assessment is a separate tool for leadership teams, on the ATTUNE Leadership site.
